And just in the nick of time, too. I'm sure the fire department was getting a bit tired of removing these decorations all those years. (Ha ha.) The implication is that the decorations were kept up until after January 6, though I doubt it. My Mom always had a beef with folks who didn't wait until Epiphany, or "Little Christmas" as she called it, was over.
