Here's a 1982 photo of Wanserski's deli. The family in front of the deli case was unidentified, but I hope they bought some of that delicious ham salad my Mom used to pick up there. I had so many lunches from that, I probably have it in my veins.

Loved the potato salads both german and regular plusvthe tuna noodle was awesome as well. Miss this place.
ReplyDeleteMy grandmas favorite place. Was there a deli on American Drive just over the Polish Connection? My grandma took me to it and my mom thinks it was called The West Side Deli. If so any pics of it?
