$500 for a dinky TV way back then! I guess they had shows worth watching.
ReplyDeleteThat was a huge amount of $$ back then, considering a good car cost $2K. When you saw color for the first time on that color TV, it is always something you will remember after years and years of watching B&W. My dad only waited until 1965, not a second too soon. Amazing what technology you can get now for less $$.
