Growing up at Second and DePere Streets, it seemed like these lights had always been in my consciousness, even though I now know I was 13 before they appeared. With changes in ownership, the name changed and the lights came down. Heck, there's even three tanks there now instead of the lonely one that held the sign. Progress.
