Zooming in on interesting architectural details of our legacy buildings, this one at the corner of Main and Milwaukee. Such work is definitely a throwback to the past. Sometimes if we just look up, there is a lot to see.
It IS a Shell sign; it was a working gas station at one time back there. When I was a kid, it was a Sinclair station; when it changed over to Shell, I don't know.
I thought that was a Shell sign behind the building. Anybody know what it is?
