Riverside Clinic
The clinic building to the left opened in late 1957 as Medical Associates with office space for ten doctors. Later it became known as Riverside Clinic. The building on the right was completed in 1968 as an addition to the clinic and had office space for nine more physicians. In 1974, the McClone Insurance Agency took over the original building when Riverside Clinic and Twin City Clinic in Neenah merged to form the Nicolet Clinic. This was the forerunner of today's Affinity Medical Group.

Dr. Vern Larsen DDS. was and still is the dentist in the building on the left. (The ground floor with the white curtains.) I went to him as a child in the 70's and I still go to him today. We used to bike down the hill between the buildings. It's still there but blocked off. :-(
ReplyDeleteI lived in the house across the street....514 Broad street upstairs apt from 1966-1975 (?)
ReplyDeleteFrom the mid-'50's through the '60's, I went to see Dr. John Conway in the original Riverside Clinic building. He was an eye, ear, nose, and throat physician and I saw him there for eye exams and audiograms. Got my glasses over in Neenah at Corr Opticians.
