Or maybe it was "the shanty of good tastes." Whatever the case, it's been a few years since we mentioned Dave's Burger Shanty here in the blog. And it's high time, with the upcoming summer upon us shortly. Yes, lemonade IS a great summertime drink. But then, so were his shakes and malts. Oh, the memories.
Dave was a great guy. He treated everyone well. I wish Hardees (now McDonalds) would have never opened nearby. Dave's had better food, better prices, and better variety but alas it did open.
