From time to time we've featured fishing activities on Little Lake Butte des Morts. My favorites have always seemed to be the ones featuring kids experiencing the thrill of fishing and being in the outdoors. Being out there with Dad, cold or not, is always a meaningful event.
As kids growing up at the corner of Third and Tayco we used ti go to Menasha hardware store and get a refridgerator box and drag it home and that was our fish shanty for the winter!
ReplyDeleteI used to go fishing with my dad. He had a big ole’ heavy coat he would wear and would put the fish he caught in the pockets.
