Redevelopment

February 20, 1990, Neenah-Menasha Daily Northwestern
View of the Southside of Main Street, replaced by the now-familiar multi-story office building.  I'm sure there are readers of this blog who've never seen this part of town before, something we old timers just took for granted.

  1. Dave: Is this view between the old shoe store and the bridge?

  2. Todd, between Mill and Center streets, where the Marina and the big red apartment complex sits now.

  3. Sorry - But I agree with Todd Wirth. This is 'not' the Marina, but the building and parking lot where Faith Technologies now occupies. The Marine project took out the old First National Bank, Elks Club and several buildings west of Mill St.

  4. Yes, Todd is right- it IS the view between the Racine Street bridge and Tuchscherer's shoe store.
