Harbor from Smith Park, 1958
Somewhere in the vacinity of the rear of the Memorial Building comes this picturesque postcard view from 1958. In the midst of a typical Wisconsin winter, it may seem like forever until this tranquility is achieved once again.
When I lived in Menasha, I lived within 100 yards of that dock. On a warm summer night, I would sleep on my sail boat at that dock. That spot on the river was the city swimming pool before the Jefferson Park pool. Beautiful place, beautiful memories

This photo was taken near the gated walkway to the dock a several feet north of the basketball court. Know it like the back of my hand.
